From 16 to 18 June, the “DLG-Feldtage”, one of Germany’s largest agricultural trade fairs, took place in Bernburg (Saale). Over the three-day event, thousands of visitors explored the latest developments in agricultural machinery, cultivation methods and software, as well as the growing role and practical applications of artificial intelligence in agriculture.

The TEAM#UP project was represented by Dr. Annette Weidner and Thomas Engst, who gave a presentation entitled:

“Restoration meets agriculture - Implementing Restoration on Your Own Farm with the DERTO Learning Platform.”

They spoke about the link between ecological restoration and agriculture, as well as the opportunities this synergy offers for the farms of the future.

The TEAM#UP information desk also attracted considerable interest throughout the event, prompting numerous discussions with interested visitors from the agricultural, educational and public-administration sectors. A particular highlight was the project’s 360° tour on conservation grazing. This virtual reality tour offered an immersive insight into this fascinating field of ecological restoration.
